Have we simply abandoned Gilbert Dorn? And what happened to Valerie’s friend from the first few episodes? Main developments: the folks in Berlin discover and respond to Daniel’s death Torres gets away from Platov Platov pursues the infiltration into Estonia we see a demonstration of the surgical weapon thingie Robert is sort of losing it Berlin Station finally takes action to try to influence the course of things in Estonia. To me this tempo switch was odd - Daniel’s death notwithstanding - in that there are still a lot of unresolved plot strands. In any case, given that we were two hours out from the end of the season tonight, this episode felt relatively suspense- and action-free until about the last ten minutes or so.
